Rolanda Dane, Club President, Agility Chair, Puppy and Manners Class Instructor

Rolanda Dane has been a member of Old Colony Dog Training for 21 years and for 12 years she has been our instructor for Puppy Class, Manner’s Class, and Obility. She is an AKC STAR Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, and Farm Dog evaluator, and also serves as our club president. She competes in agility, obedience, rally, tracking, herding, and barn hunts. She has 4 versatility titles with her dogs. Her collie Jack was the first collie to receive a Versatility 3 title. Vice President

Mark’s first involvement with the club was in 2006, attending the puppy class. Since that time, he has better understood the need for continued education by both the canine and the handler. Mark spent part of his childhood working on a farm and continues to surround the family with animals. He is a certified Farm Dog judge. August, a German Shepherd Dog, is his companion. Megan McCrory, Board of Directors and Website/Social Media

Megan has been an active member of Old Colony Dog Training since 2019 and a member of the Board of Directors since 2020. She is also responsible for maintaining the website and posts on social media. She attends puppy and manners classes, and occasionally, specialty classes such as obility and is soon to begin rally. She enjoys walks and trips to the beach with her Tibetan Terriers Aggie and Moonie (shown in photo).

Don Worcester

Don Worcester, Competition Trainer

Don Worcester is our competition trainer. After serving in the Air Force, Don came to our club in 1973 with a long history of dog training and competing in obedience trials. He has trained, handled and shown many breeds and had the Number One Obedience Cardigan in the country for three years running. He also had the first Obedience Trial Champion dog in the North Shore Kennel Club’s history. He offers advice for new and experienced handlers who are getting ready to show their dogs and helps improve their performance for competition.
